Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie (World Pastry Cup), takes places every two years in Lyon, France. Each nation entered to compete is represented by a team of three pastry professionals; a pastry cook, a chocolate chef and an ice specialist, each with a minimum of 7 years experience. Each participating country selects its own President, who is also a member of the international jury in Lyon. The event takes place in front of a live audience and has become worthy of Hollywood shows. International media coverage has grown larger with each competition and there are more and more corporate sponsors.
