NAITNorthern Alberta Institute of Technology: NAIT School of Hospitality offers Culinary Arts Diploma, Hospitality Supervision Certificate, Baking Certificate and Retail Meat cutting Certificate programs.  These courses are designed to meet the needs of students who wish to pursue a career in the food services industry.  The basic philosophy of these programs is to expose the student to the many aspects of the industry; and successfully prepare him/her to enter hospitality professions.

NAIT also provides Apprenticeship training that develops skill and competencies leading to the attainment of Journeyman Cook and Baking Certification.  Training consists of three 8 week in class technical training periods augmented with 1680 hours of on the job training.  Graduates of Apprentice training are able to responsibly do all work tasks expected of a Journeyman Cook and Baker.
